Tours
The Brogdale season for guided walking tours will start on March 29th (Easter Weekend) running daily until the start of November 2013 and run three times a day. On a tour, your personal guide will take you to the most beautiful and interesting parts of the orchards whilst letting you try the fruit in season. Self guided tours are also available all season.
Group Visits
Group visits (ten or more people) can be booked at any time during the open season and a tractor trailer tour can also be arranged for a different view of the orchards! For details on group tours, visit the website or call the bookings team on 01795 536 250.
Events, Feature Days & Festivals
In 2013 Brogdale will be hosting the Annual Festivals include the Cherry, Cider and Apple Festival as well as a number of NEW Event and Feature Days starting with Easter at Brogdale and finishing with the Pumpkin and Autumn Craft Weekend.
Easter Weekend Celebrations

For the 2013 Easter Weekend why not visit Brogdale and be the first of the season to take a tractor trailer ride around the orchards, cook with berries & enjoy craft workshops in the Brogdale barn. Easter Monday will mark the start of Brogdale’s Open Season and kick start the Blossom Month with tractor trailer rides and an orchard treasure hunt!

Celebrate the delights of blossom at Brogdale through April & May. The orchards are a beautiful sight to see boasted
exceptional ornamental Cherry Blossom. The array of blossoming fruits grown including Apples, Pears, Plums and Apricots ensures an extended duration of blossom as they all have different flowering times. (Weather dependant)

Picnic Area- Bring a picnic and enjoy a selection of garden games. Sit back and relax in the sunshine with the whole family in our beautiful orchard picnic area.
Interactive Cooking Demonstrations- Learn, taste and take home recipes from these insightful demonstrations with talented cooks who will be baking and decorating wonderful summer foods throughout the whole weekend.
Children's Craft- Be creative and crafty with strawberry themed activities for the whole family to make and take home, all run by our fantastic children’s workers.
Fruit Display/Tasting- Enjoy a wonderful display of the fruit in season designed by our fantastic guides. Try a variety of scrumptious seasonal fruit throughout the whole weekend, possible fruit includes strawberries, early cherries and other soft fruits (seasons permitting).

Hundreds of delicious Plums to explore!
Take a guided walking tour or tractor trailer ride around the Orchards to see a whooping 350 different varieties of plum. You can also pick up some new cooking skills from visiting our cooking demonstration area and try and buy and large selection of plums. Also visit out marketplace, restaurant, miniature railway & play park.
Rural Cooking Weekend
14th/15th September 2013
The perfect weekend to experience rural cooking and enjoy hedgerow walks, charcoal making demonstrations, cooking demonstrations and a farmers market featuring local and rural foods. Taste the produce, learn the skills and then find your food! Also visit out marketplace, restaurant, miniature railway & play park.
Harvest Weekend
(21st/22nd September 2013)
Spend the harvest weekend at Brogdale and make harvest crafts & take part in scarecrow making. You can enjoy orchard walking tours to experience the wonderful crop at Brogdale and taste the vast and interesting varieties of Apples & Pears in season. Get lots of advice on harvesting your vegetables and tips on storing your vegetables to make use of them all
winter. Also visit out marketplace, restaurant, miniature railway & play park
