Set in an old cider farm, Badgers Hill Farm and Cidery offers a unique day out. Most refer to Badgers Hill as a little ‘quirky’ – most tend to agree. The farm sits within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a short walk to the historic village of Chilham.
Family owned and operated, offering something for everyone. Open daily throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn. Take tea in our glasshouse under the willow tree or in our gardens overlooking the old orchards. The café serves homemade refreshments and locally-roasted coffee is served along with a selection of teas and cakes. We also produce our own farmhouse cider that is matured in oak whisky barrels.
Please note; Badgers Hill is a small family farm who care deeply about their animals and staff. The farm is funded solely by the tea room and giftware. We do not allow picnics! In other words please only consume food and drinks purchased from the farm shop within Badgers Hill Farm premises.
Badgers Hill farm has been making its own farmhouse cider for years, and still use the old techniques and the old wooden press! The hugely tasty cider is brewed 100% right here on the farm and is matured in oak whisky barrels before going on sale in the indoor shop. You can pop in with your own container and fill up, or they sell by the bottle or small barrel. Pop in or give them a call for prices.
New indoor café coming soon
The farm has just had planning approved for their café extension project connecting the Badgers Hill Farm shop with a fantastic new indoor café/tea room. Work starts soon.
