The Faversham Creek Hotel is a boutique hotel situated in the centre of Faversham town - a town of character and characters.
It offers eight individually styled en-suite bedrooms which have been named after significant historical Faversham people or buildings. The Queen Matilda room has a 7’ x 7’ four poster bed, a raised bath in the bedroom as well as a spacious shower room. Every room has a state of the art television which doubles as your media centre while you are with us. There is also coffee and tea facilities, Wi-Fi and the bathrooms have fitted hair dryers.
Prices for a double room bed and breakfast range from £70.00 - £140.00 (a four poster with a bath in the room as well as a shower room) and we are happy to quote for full-board which can also include a pub lunch or supper in the Phoenix Tavern, three minutes’ walk away in historic Abbey Street, one of the longest, oldest medieval streets in England.
The hotel offers short breaks incorporating cycling, walking, golfing, bird watching, cultural experiences, vineyard and brewery trips, shooting and ballooning – you name it we will look into it! We would be very happy to put an itinerary together which would give you a taste of the many things that Faversham and the surrounding area has to offer. Your stay with us could be tailor made to your wishes – or let us surprise you with a taster of a number of things.
The building dates from 1723 and contains some interesting original features but being Grade 2 listed is not suitable for disabled or those with walking difficulties as all rooms are approached by stairs.
Red Sails Restaurant
Within the Faversham Creek Hotel is the Red Sails Restaurant where you can enjoy a set three course lunch or dinner and the A la Carte from Wednesdays to Sunday.
A comfortable environment with a traditional English menu and a large selection of wines from around the UK and the world. The restaurant features numerous fish dishes largely supplied by local fisherman Bluey Walpole from Oare.
In addition to the restaurant both our lounge and our wine, ale and champagne bar are open to residents and the public. There is a full wine list, including Wine Flights (taste of three 2oz wines selected by grape and region) as well as bitter, premium lager and Guinness.
We are also developing a range of craft ales and special ciders and in the spring 2015 will be introducing a Whisky Club, Gin Club and Cocktail nights.
In the better weather ‘the olde world’ paved Henry Pay Courtyard and the front Terrace are an idyllic suntrap for enjoying a drink, oysters, the bar menu, morning coffee or afternoon tea.
For a selection of six real ales, five lagers and cask cider from the barrel take the short walk to our sister business The Phoenix Tavern where you will also find a full pub menu.
