The Elephant public house is in The Mall, the town's graceful tree-lined entrance.

A free house, the pub has been run by James and Kim since March 2006 and has been decorated extensively to create a clean, light and airy pub with vases of fresh flowers.The Elephant has won many South East in Bloom Awards for their hanging baskets and garden and also sponsors Abel's Acre in Faversham
You will find James or Kim at the Elephant every night to make you welcome, Live music and quizzes are held occasionally and a beer festival twice a year.
Walk through the pub and hanging grapevine to the large courtyard garden, which is a delight in the warmer months with seating for up to 40 with tubs of flowers, pear trees and a pond. There is also a covered smoking area where you can sit with friends.

Real ales
A traditional ale house boasting five real ales, one to include a mild and an extra sixth pump for real cider, suppliers include small micro breweries and some popular and less common draught brews such as Amstel, Leffe Blonde, Bitburger, Pilsner from the Whitstable brewery, Aspall's Harry Sparrow sparkling cider and a good range of wine and soft drinks.
As a free house the Elephant offers a wide range of real ales, including brews from Hopdaemon brewery at Newnham, Whitstable brewery, Goachers at Maidstone, the Rother Valley and the Dark Star brewery in Brighton.
A CAMRA beer discount is available to CAMRA card holders.
