The Black Lion is a fine Jacobean building and inside it is full of character and the landlord's dry sense of humour is evident in the trinkets and notices scattered about. The noticeboard in the entrance is worth a hover! That's if you make it that far, the noose outside the entrance to the pub is rather alarming!
