The Plough at Stalisfield Green, located in beautiful Kent countryside a few miles from Charing.
In an age where pubs are fast losing their character, The Plough at Stalisfield Green strives to stand out from the crowd by offering the best a traditional rural pub can; a warm and friendly atmosphere, fine dining (and we mean fine, nothing bought-in here), well kept traditional ales (all local) and great live music nights.
No karaoke, no fruit machines, no pool table needed.
Children always welcome and a children's menu is available. Vegetarian food always available. Twice a month there is live music.
Drinks
We are very lucky to have some wonderful artisan brewers in Kent. We always have a selection of ever changing ales from Kent brewers on traditional and hand pump.
Occasionally we feature a guest ale from micro breweries across Britain though they have to be exceptional to stand alongside some of Kent's finest!
Food
Forget your normal expectations of pub food. The Plough at Stalisfield offers restaurant quality food in a relaxed and informal environment that can only be found in a traditional English rural pub.
The exciting and weekly changing menu marries contemporary and traditional dishes with a strong emphasis on local and seasonal produce.
You can be certain every dish is made with real passion by the Plough's kitchen team headed up by our experienced head chef and highly skilled patisserie chef.
Traditional Sunday roasts are very popular served with real home-made gravy and giant Yorkshire puddings. The sensibly priced Sunday menu makes a good opportunity for the whole family to catch up.
