The Red Sails Restaurant at the Faversham Creek Hotel opened late in 2014 and offers a welcomed dining experience in Faversham. The hotel itself is Faversham’s only boutique hotel and each room is tastefully and individually designed and named after famous Faversham people.
Combining the best of traditional and modern British cuisine the Red Sails Restaurant offers a set price lunch Wednesday to Saturday and on Sunday there is a small a la Carte menu as an addition to the traditional choice of roasts.
On Wednesday and Thursday evenings we offer a set price menu, Friday and Saturday is a more expansive a la Carte menu enabling the chefs to showcase their imagination and creativity.
Our chefs use local produce from Kent as well as award winning ingredients from all over the UK. All our food is prepared with care and skill by our chefs using their experiences to surprise, delight and impress.
Each table is named after a Thames Barge with a Faversham connection, many of which are famous worldwide.
Our wine list has been created to meet all tastes. We believe that good affordable wine should be accessible and customers should be able to make an informed choice with guidance from our staff when required.
Our choice of wines comes from both the old world and the new world and includes the very best of the English wines available including local vineyards such as Chapel Down. Guests may also indulge in our wine flights. This is an opportunity to try three different wines that will suit your menu.
The restaurant is comfortably appointed and in the warmer weather diners can dine outside in the olde world Henry Pay Courtyard.
On Oyster Nights guests are treated to a selection of Oysters prepared in several different ways. The Chef’s Table Night
is an opportunity to be part of our focus group who enjoy a five course taster menu at a discount as a part of our menu development programme which, whenever possible, is run in conjunction with a well known wine supplier or vineyard.
