The
Country Retreat is at the end of a private road, set in three acres and overlooks beautiful parkland, on the outskirts of Faversham.
The Country Retreat bungalows are completely self-contained and situated in very peaceful locations. Faversham town is a five minute drive away by car. You have all the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, with only a very short journey to the local amenities.
The great Cathedral City of Canterbury is just seven miles away, and the coast a mere twenty minute journey. Under an hour drive and you can spend the day at Blue Water, Europe's largest shopping centre.
You could even be in France within a couple of hours, with having a day trip by ferry from Dover or take the Channel Tunnel shuttle, and go by train. Syndale Park is therefore ideally situated to visit the garden of England, or just simply relax in the pleasant surroundings.
Whatever your preference, you can be assured of a warm welcome from Maureen French and her family.
Facilities
- The bungalows each have central heating and comfortably sleep four adults.
- Two good sized bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed and the second is a twin bedded room.
- Bed linen is provided. Towels by arrangement.
- Comfortably furnished lounge including coloured TV etc.
- Large kitchen-breakfast room fully equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave etc.
- Parking is immediately outside of the accommodation.
- Nearby there is the Syndale Park Sports and Leisure Centre with squash courts, badminton, gymnasium, sauna, solarium and Jacuzzi, available with unlimited use, for a small nominal fee. There is also a licensed bar if you simply want to relax and enjoy a drink.

- Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday
- £200 - £420 per week, according to season
How to find us
By Car
The Syndale Park Country Retreat is situated on the western outskirts of Faversham. From the M2, take exit 6 and follow signs for Faversham and then Ospringe.
By Train
On the London Victoria to Dover line alight at Faversham where there is a taxi service available or ring for collection. From Eurostar Ashford please call to make pre-booked arrangements for collection.
