Faversham Enterprise Partnership
The FEP is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee that works to deliver economic and community benefit in the town of Faversham and its surrounding rural area.
It was set up in April 2004 with the support of Faversham Town Council, Swale Borough Council, Kent County Council, local businesses and local community organisations. The partnership continues to work with local councils, businesses and the community on development initiatives that enhance local wellbeing.
The Partnership has a board of volunteer directors, 100+ local partners, volunteer helpers and five staff, all part-time. It works with local organisations such as the Faversham Area Tourism Association, Faversham Traders’ Group, the Faversham Society as well as the town council’s Town Marketing Group and the Faversham Joint Public Realm Working Group.
The Partnership has a sound pedigree of delivering collaborative development projects that deliver stated benefits and outcomes within agreed budgets and within agreed timescales.
The faversham.org website operates under the umbrella of the Partnership which also provides management services to the annual Faversham Travel Through Time festival held each May.
