St Mary, Teynham

Our morning service is aimed at those who wish to come and worship in the context of All-Age or Family Worship. God's Detectives for young people meet during this service in term time.   If you favour a more traditional service, then you might prefer our afternoon service, which uses the Book of Common Prayer.

Services

Our usual pattern of services is as follows:

1st and 3rd Sundays:
10.30 am Family Worship
3.30 pm Holy Communion

2nd and 4th Sundays:
10.30 am Family Worship with Holy Communion (Common Worship)
3.30 pm Evensong
T.G Tips 4.30 pm Teynham School

5th Sunday:
Cluster service at one of the churches in the Kingsdown and Creekside Cluster

St Mary’s Parish Magazine

You can subscribe to our bimonthly magazine for £2 per year, which is six issues. As well as containing news and events concerning your parish church, there are other articles reflecting wider parish life, plus local advertisers. To take out a subscription or place an advertisement, please contact Jan Wright  janicewright@hotmail.co.uk .

Baptisms
Requests for baptisms should be made to the Priest-in-Charge, Steve Lillicrap,  who will arrange for you to come and discuss this. Please note that baptisms are held within the Family Service on the first Sunday of the month, and that several months’ notice is required to arrange a date. This is due to a large number of baptism requests.
