Brents Community Association

Home / Community / Clubs, Societies, Charities and Hobbies / Brents Community Association
The Brents Community Association was set up in September 2013 by residents of the Brents area of Faversham, including the North Preston Estate. Its mission is to provide a voice for the local community and to promote continuous improvement of the area for the benefit of everyone who lives and works there.

The Brents area is closely connected to Faversham Creek, and the Association has active representation on the Faversham Creek Neighbourhood Plan steering group. It is developing a proposal for a creekside community centre and boatyard, and asking for this to be included in the Neighbourhood Plan.

The Association also takes up other local issues, ranging from policing to the state of roads and pavements, and organises events.

Meetings are usually held once a month, at the meeting room in the Brents Tavern on Upper Brents. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in helping the Association to achieve its aims and objectives and is willing to abide by its rules.
