Rotary is short for Rotary International – a worldwide association of local clubs for men and women in business or the professions who: provide humanitarian service to the community at local, national and international level; encourage high ethical standards in all vocations; and work for goodwill and peace in the world.
Rotary was founded in 1905 and now has over 1.2 million members in more than 29,000 clubs in 159 countries and 35 geographical regions. There are 1,800 clubs in Great Britain and Ireland with over 61,000 members.

Our Club
TheRotary Club of Faversham was formed on the 15th October 1947 and is within District 1120 which includes the county of Kent, East Sussex, part of South East London and Gibraltar.
The club draws its members from the market town of Faversham located on the North Kent coast in England, to the west of Canterbury and on the main route from London to Canterbury and the Channel ports to the Continent.

Weekly Meetings
The Rotary Club of Faversham meets every Monday evening (except Bank Holidays) at Faversham Golf Club at 7pm. Faversham Golf Club is situated a few miles outside Faversham in the picturesque Kent countryside.
Our meetings are held in the new clubhouse overlooking the first tee and the woods beyond.
