Faversham Music Club was founded in 1946 to promote professional concerts in Faversham and to foster knowledge and appreciation of music by means of public performance. It is Registered Charity No 261330.

There are usually four or five professional concerts arranged for each season during the period October to March.
The committee tries to make the season’s concerts as varied as possible.
Concert dates for 2015 -2016 season
Unless otherwise stated, all concerts will be held in The Assembly Hall, Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Abbey Place, Faversham
Thursday 11th February 2016 Trevor Pinnock (harpsichord) and Jonathan Manson (viola de gamba)
Thursday 28th April 2016 Omri Epstein (piano) and Daniel Palmizio (viola). This is a combined concert, shared with Sittingbourne Music Society)
Saturday March 19th 2016 Imogen Cooper (piano) - venue the Colyer-Fergusson Hall, Canterbury.
All concerts will start at 7.30pm.

Individual concert tickets
Tickets (£12, and £6 for students) can be obtained at the door on the night of the concert or booked by contacting the treasurer 01795 535937
Membership of the Music Club costs £1.A Season Ticket (£36, inclusive of membership) covers all the concerts except the Gala Concert. It also offers savings on the Club social events and provides a considerable saving over the year. These are available from late summer and are obtained from the treasurer.
First Sunday concerts
From January 2016 a concert, organised by Faversham Music Club will take place in the Assembly Rooms, Preston Street.
The concerts will start at 3 pm and will be followed by complimentary tea and cake and a chance to meet the artists. The concerts will be priced at £5 (under 16s FREE).
Sunday January 3rd. Aurora Trio (flute, viola and harp).
Sunday February 7th, Alan Ewing and David Knotts. A varied programme of German and Russian songs.
Sunday March 6th. Harping on!
The club organises a number of social events during the year, which include:
- Coach trips to concerts by prestigious orchestras in London.
- Musical evening with refreshments
