The group has held regular meetings since its inception in 1990. Details are listed below of forthcoming indoor and outdoor meetings.

All indoor meetings are held at the Fleur de Lis Hall on the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, starting at 8.00pm.

All outdoor meetings, members meet in Faversham Car Park (FCP) near the rear of the Sun Inn, Leslie Smith Drive, usually on the fourth Sunday of every month.

There is a fee of £4 for non-members for all events.

Membership is available at £10 per annum

:  An illustrated talk by Jodie Randall including unusual
and artistic ways of seeing our local wildlife.

Christmas Social Evening.
Our informal Christmas social evening with buffet and quizzes.

South Swale,

Holborough Marshes

Marshland and scrub woodland beside the River Medway for Southern Marsh Orchid, Brook lime and other wetland plants plus Nightingales and other warblers.

Whitstable Beach:
Grid Ref TR 099 655. Group meet FCP 1900 or Valkyrie Road off Joy Lane, Whitstable,1920. An evening walk to look at shingle flora and hope to find Sea Pea.

Church Wood RSPB Reserve (Rough Common).
Grid Ref TR122 594. Group meet FCP 1915 or Reserve car park 1930. A woodland walk for plants and birds then our Woodcock and Nightjar watch.

Tugely Wood and Thursley Common:
Grid Ref SU 978 348 Group Meet FCP 0900 or Tugley wood on the Chiddingfold to Highstreet Green/ Dunsfold Road at 10.30.
Butterflies (Purple Emporor) at the woods and Dragonflies/plants on the Common.

A Winter walk along the seawall overlooking the mudflats as the tide comes in and possibly refreshments on the Thames Barge Edith May.
