The
Friends of Faversham Creek are dedicated to the restoration of
Faversham Creek and its surroundings.
General Information
The aims of the Friends of Faversham Creek are:
- to preserve the best aspects of the whole area on and around Faversham Creek, and to seek to improve the area and its amenities
- to ensure that development in this area proceeds in accordance with a strategic plan for the whole area that has been prepared and agreed by the Borough Council
- to influence the preparation of the strategic plan, and
- to influence all detailed development plans in this area. In doing so to take account of all matters affecting the Town or people of Faversham.
Membership
Membership of 'The Friends' is open to anyone with an interest in its aims. The membership subscription is £5.00 per household, or £2.50 for income support/student/unwaged/OAP members.
