Angling Club

Faversham Angling Club Faversham Angling Club was founded in 1950 and owns three lakes and controls another in and around Faversham.

The club’s lakes are:

  • The School Pool (12 acres) located along Oare Road which contains Carp to over 30lbs, Tench, Bream, Roach and Pike. 
  • Bracher Pools (2 small lakes) can be found along Harty Ferry Road opposite the Harty Ferry Cottages. A mile or so outside Faversham and contain small carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Crucian Carp and Bream.
  • The club also controls Bysing Wood Lake (7 acres) along Bysing Wood Road heading towards Luddenham. This lake contains double-figure Carp, Tench, Bream and Rudd. 

The club has a waiting list for membership and details can be obtained from the Club Secretary (see details below).
