Welcome to the page of the Faversham Rugby Union Club Club.
Founded in 1992 the club remains one of the youngest in the RFU.
In 1994 the club moved from its first home, at the Swan & Harlequin pub, to its current location on
Faversham Recreation Ground. The club was formed from an annual charity match against Sittingbourne.
The Faversham squad, playing for other clubs in the area, came together each year on Boxing Day under the name of the Castaways - a name which gave the club its desert island logo.
Combining competitive rugby with a strong social side Faversham RUFC is the perfect place for anyone who enjoys rugby. The 1st XV play in East Kent 1 which provides a full schedule of league and cup matches within 30 minutes of Faversham.
New players are always welcome - come and watch or join us for training Wednesday evenings at 7.15pm on Faversham Recreation Ground. Juniors (10-14) train on Sunday mornings from 10 to 12.
Fixtures run from September to April – see
