Come and Sing Faure’s Requiem
St Catherine’s Church, Preston Lane, Faversham
A chance to rehearse and sing Faure’s Requiem with Faversham Choral Society under the direction of James Brown. Scores will be provided, plus tea and cake. The cost is £10 (£5 for students and under-16s). To reserve a place, contact or Melvin Church on 01795 424102. An audience for the 6pm performance is very welcome (free entry, with a retiring collection).

Summer Serenade
All Saints’ Church, Graveney, Kent ME13 9EB
The Canterbury Singers return to All Saints’ Church, Graveney, to present a programme of mainly secular music to include madrigals, romantic part songs, folk song arrangements and arrangements of popular songs. The concert will also feature Emily Hopper, harp, and Will Crawford, guitar, and will be conducted by Elizabeth Jenkins. Tickets (£8, including refreshments) are available on the door or in advance from Elizabeth Jenkins (01795 536778).

Concert by the Kent Chamber Choir, featuring soprano Ellen Pearson (winner of the 2017 Kath Topping Award), conducted by Alan Vincent and accompanied by John Williams. A Night of Comedy with Matt Winning
Assembly Rooms, Preston Street, Faversham
Swale Friends of the Earth presents a night of comedy with the popular Edinburgh Fringe comedian Matt Winning, supported by Eleanor Morton. Tickets £8 in advance, £10 on the door, including one free drink. Bar at the venue. Michael Buble Tribute Night

For a sixth successive year, Faversham Carnival Club starts the Christmas festivities with Jason Allen Sway’s Michael Buble tribute show. Tickets are £15. The bar is open, there will be a raffle, and you can take your own food and nibbles.
