A theatre performance to evoke memories of the wartime years. It is the summer of 1943, and Bett and Vera travel the country hosting tea dances for RAF fighter pilots stationed near by. What the locals don’t know is that the dance is a cover for the girls’ real purpose: to send the men off to fight and perhaps die having experienced all of life’s pleasures ...

This immersive theatre performance by the Anonymous is a Woman Theatre Company is supported by Applause Rural Touring and Ideastest.

Audience members are encouraged to come in 1940s dress if they wish.

Tickets are £7.50 from the Alexander Centre, and tea and biscuits are included in the price.
