The Pantaloons perform The Importance of Being Earnest on Bank Holiday Monday. Everybody loves Ernest. In fact, Cecily and Gwendolen are both engaged to Ernest. The only trouble is, Ernest doesn’t exist. Or does he …? This energetic and musical production from the critically acclaimed Pantaloons infuses Oscar Wilde’s witty words with snappy new songs and frantically funny physical theatre to give this perennially popular play an hilarious contemporary twist.
The performance length is about two hours, including interval, and it is suitable for all ages.
Tickets £13.50 adult, £8 child under 16, £37 family ticket (two adults, two children). Under-threes go free. There is a £1.25 booking fee per transaction.
This performance takes place in the open air and will continue in all weather except conditions that the venue or the company deem to be genuinely unsafe for the audience or performers.
