Fairs and fetes

Free-entry fete with a tropical beach party theme and a steel band playing. Traditional stalls, games and competitions, raffle with £200, £100 and £50 prizes, tea room, barbecue, bar and tug-of-war competition.  

Faversham, renowned for the range and quality of its food and drink products and boasting a growing industry of locally made arts and crafts, offers a Best of Faversham Market, held on the first Saturday of every month. Traditional, local shopping at its best.

Enjoy an afternoon at one of Kent’s favourite Open Gardens days, with 15 gardens open, ploughman’s lunches, Pimm’s and local beers, children's treasure hunt, lace-making demonstration, sculpture studio, bellringing and afternoon teas from 2pm.

West Faversham Community Association holds its second summer fete at its West Faversham Community Centre, which opened last year. Attractions include a barbecue, a licensed bar, seafood, a bouncy castle and a climbing wall.

Tours of the Brogdale Farm fruit collections, cooking demonstrations, children's craft, face painting and fruit tasting.

Traditional fete with live jazz band, welly wanging, tug of war, beer tent, and maypole dancing by Sheldwich School pupils.

Craft Fair being held in conjunction with Faversham's Open House scheme. Locally made handicrafts on display and for sale as this regular fair is held at the Assembly Rooms for the first time. Stalls are still available.

Lots of stalls, entertainment, fun and games. Activities for children, adults and dogs! A great day out in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and Lord Whiskey Animal Sanctuary. Stall bookings being taken, and raffle prizes and sponsorship sought.

Family fun and entertainment in aid of Help for Heroes. Attractions include vintage cars and motorcycles, craft and antique stands and face-painters. The fifth anniversary show will also feature local bands and tribute acts.

Craft Fair being held in conjunction with Faversham Carnival. Locally made handicrafts on display and for sale. Stalls still available.
