Faversham Creek (ME13 7DF), Town Wharf and Front Brents Green
Second day of weekend festival featuring many traditional vessels moored in Faversham Creek, including Thames sailing barges, Dutch barges, tugs, smacks and gaffers. Vessels will be dressed overall, making a colourful display, and some owners may invite you on board.  On Town Wharf, home of the Sea Cadets’ medieval building, TS Hazard, there will be stalls, exhibitions, music and a beer tent.

Cherry Fair
Brogdale Collections, Brogdale Road, Ospringe, Faversham
Celebration of the cherry, of which there are more than 400 varieties in the National Fruit Collection at Brogdale. The Cherry Fair is packed with cherry entertainment, including a cherry stone spit, messy cherry pie eating competitions, live music, local producers and a display of cherries. Faversham Chilli Festival
Edibleculture, The Abbey School, Faversham
After the success of the event in 2017, the Edibleculture garden centre at Faversham’s Abbey School again holds the Faversham Chilli Festival. The celebration of all things chilli will feature performing arts from Faversham Fringe, horticultural talks, live music and local producers. Entry is by donation to charity.

Carnival parade, starting at 6.30pm. Floats line up from 4pm at Jubilee Way, off Whitstable Road, Faversham, with judging starting at 5pm, and the parade moves into position in Whitstable Road at 6pm, ready for a 6.30pm start.
