Visit 30-plus private and community gardens, many within walking distance of each other, in the charming historic town of Faversham. Market Place will have a special garden market, with plant stalls, vintage gardenalia, and local crafts and food. Entry to gardens by ticket-handbook (£6 each or £10 for two). There is a children’s competition and there’s free entry for children under 12.

Festival featuring many traditional vessels moored in Faversham Creek, including Thames sailing barges, Dutch barges, tugs, smacks and gaffers. Vessels will be dressed overall, making a colourful display, and some owners may invite you on board.  On Town Wharf, home of the Sea Cadets’ medieval building, TS Hazard, there will be stalls, exhibitions, music and a beer tent.

Carnival parade, starting at 6.30pm. Floats line up from 4pm at Jubilee Way, off Whitstable Road, Faversham, with judging starting at 5pm, and the parade moves into position in Whitstable Road at 6pm, ready for a 6.30pm start.
