The Faversham Society’s Open House provides an annual opportunity to see inside buildings of historical and architectural interest. Owners open their properties on 1, 8 and 15 July in what is the 48th year of the scheme, the first of its kind and a template for the national Heritage Open Days.

Open Gardens
Newnham
About 12 village gardens will be open for Newnham’s Open Gardens event. Tour them for £5 per adult (children free). Proceeds to church funds. Cream teas, Pimm’s and local beers. Parking at the foot of Sharsted Hill  (ME9 0LN).

Take your camera and enjoy a walk through hops and grapevines on a beautiful Kent farm. Photograph the scenery and improve your camera skills on the way, enjoying time outdoors with other keen photographers. Afterwards, enjoy drinks and a summer buffet lunch, all included in the price.
