An 'attraction' planned for the £2million new wing of Maidstone Museum is an ancient boat (brought back by a Kent explorer) from the Solomon Islands. Is it not time the really ancient boat found on Faversham's doorstep at Graveney was afforded a decent home in the town? That would be a real attraction for visitors to Kent and bring more trade to Faversham. Perhaps the spacious new Craft Centre could boost its image by offering to house the superb artefact at present hidden away in Greenwich. OK, it will need money to move it, so let's start saving.
