Ever wondered what is going on with regard to the seemingly endless stream of housing and other developments reported over the last year or so in and around Faversham?

An action group has been formed to try to bring some understanding to Faversham people of the effect of the development plans submitted (and sometimes granted).  For details see http://safeguardingfaversham.org.uk

Not to long back the former Seagers Foundry site was going to be developed into part domestic dwellings, and part industrial, with the landowner stating that the industrial units must be built asap, the majority being sold or let even before being built.

These industrial units bringing employment to the town? Now the plans to build the second phase of industrial units has been binned, more domestic dwellings are to be built. So much for new industry / jobs coming to Faversham. It does seem that the developers are pulling the wool over our local council, including Swale.
