Faversham Mission Brass is giving a concert to back a project recording the town in photographs.
The brass band will be performing on Thursday, 5 July, in aid of the photographic project A Year in the Life of Faversham. An exhibition of a photo a day taken over a year is to be staged at the Faversham Hop Festival in September and the concert will help to raise funds towards the venture.
The 5 July concert is at Faversham’s Alexander Centre at 7.30pm, and admission is £4.50/£4, payable on the night. Refreshments will be available.
The programme will feature a wide range of music, including numbers from Gilbert and Sullivan, music from the film
Grease and a French selection especially for the project organiser, French-born Nathalie Banaigs.
