The Bike Shop in the Mall is a proud sponsor of the Faversham Car Show.
The 2010 show was a great success despite the threat of rain. It was very well supported by both the exhibitors who brought vehicles of a very high standard (and some from very long distances! ) and the public, who came along to admire the vehicles and enjoy the day. We would like to thank everyone for coming and making it such an enjoyable occasion for everyone.

The bus rides in the vintage buses were particularly popular as was the train that Shepherd Neame had laid on and there was a lovely atmosphere particularly in the town market place where a six piece jazz band entertained the crowds.
We were very pleased that so many shops opened up for the day, and were glad that several local charities got involved. For example the Air Cadets Faversham Squadron made over £700 towards replacing their minibus by serving up refreshments so many thanks to all those people who supported all those good causes.
Prizewinners were as follows:
Faversham Car Show award winners 2010
Best motorcycle: Mr R Taylor, Ariel Square 4 600
Best Faversham Exhibitor: Mr B Alexander, MG Magnette
Best American: Mr M Harrison, 1957 Chevrolet Bel-air
Best in Show: Mr J Staddon, Jensen CV8 Mk III
Oldest Vehicle: Mr T McDonnell, Wolsley 10 opern seater sports (1922)
Farthest Travelled: Mr G Bell, Matra Avantime Privilege (Antwerp)
We are already planning the 2011 event. So great is the popularity of the Faversham Classic Car and Motorcycle Show with very large numbers of exhibitors and thousands of visitors, that we are considering some exciting changes for next year. The Show committee has received a lot of excellent feedback from exhibitors and visitors (with both praise and brickbats!) which has yielded a lot of excellent ideas for the future. Many thanks for that and keep it coming.
