Guided Health Walks aim to encourage people to walk regularly in their local community for the benefit of their health. Anyone can take part and it's free! Walking in a group is a great way to start walking and to stay motivated, and it is also a valuable social activity.

Faversham Walks
The walks begin at the Faversham Library at 09.45am for 10am start each week on Wednesday mornings. Meet in Faversham Library reception, Newton Road, Faversham, ME13 8DY.
The routes are varied as much as possible so everyone can be interested. Faversham Creek and the Saxon Shore Way are popular with the walkers and are areas that will be walked as the weather improves. Other places walked included Lorenden Park, Oare Gunpowder Works and Luddenham. The walks are for about 1-1¼ hours duration.
We have a very enthusiastic and friendly group of walkers, with new people signing up each week. You will receive a free rucksack after 6 walks and a free step counter after 12 walks.
All walks are led by trained volunteers. No need to book simply turn up and join in ... everyone's welcome!

All these Health Walks are volunteer led. In order to have as many Health Walks in East Kent as possible for you to join, we need to have friendly, reliable volunteers from the community to help lead, assist and promote the walks.
