About a mile further west, again off the Swale, is Oare Creek, navigable by craft upto about 30ft, again with boat yards with permanent and visitor moorings.
There is also Conyer Creek, about 3 miles west of Faversham, navigable by craft upto about 30ft, again with boat yards with permanent and visitor moorings
Harty Ferry, at the west end of the Swale, overs a convenient stop over for yachts and motor cruisers. There is also a slip from which small boats can be launched from a trailer.
