New for 2017:
We are pleased to announce that this year there will be a Family Area situated in Central Car Park, this will be in place of the Fun Fair. There will be activities for children from ages 2-11, and we are pleased to announce that Creation Station will be helping us out with this area, they will be providing crafty things for the children to do, adults can join in as well or you can sit down have a drink and listen to the band. There will also be a Bouncy Castle, Punch and Judy, Badge making, Garden Games and more to be announced. The family area will also have a food and drink stall.
An absolute delight for all the family
Saturday is a celebration of the big and beautiful, showcasing buses with FREE vintage bus rides and majestic commercial vehicles lining the historical streets of Faversham, a vibrant market, independent shops, cafes and entertainment for the children, a great day out not to missed.
Sunday the town plays hosts to over 350 cars and motorcycles through the ages. The vehicles fill the town centre and
offer an interesting insight into travel through time. Take a nostalgic stroll around the town, talk to the proud owners and share stories whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of this wonderful event.
Travelling to the Transport Weekend
The train station is in the heart of Faversham and close to all the Transport weekend activities. We have been informed that there will be some engineering works over the weekend and a bus replacement service will be in action on the Sunday.
Travelling by car
If you are considering arriving by car there will be some Park & Ride / Park & Walk options available. Park and Ride will be available from Macknade Fine Foods, which is just off the A2.
