Relaxing and flexible hostel style B&B on a family farm in a rural village with pub in North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are numerous footpaths, woods, open access areas and wonderful wildlife. We are close to North Kent Marshes, RSPB and Kent Wildlife Trust sites, just a short car drive to Elmley National Nature Reserve, Stodmarsh and Blean Ancient Woodland reserves.
Palace Farm is centrally located for you to explore Canterbury, Rochester, Chatham, Leeds Castle and the many other historic towns, villages and castles in Kent. Sittingbourne station is only ten minutes drive and an hour by train to Central London
Rooms, food and facilities
The accommodation is in converted farm buildings, the rooms are arranged around a landscaped courtyard giving privacy and good security. Ten fully heated en-suite rooms sleep up to 39 guests. The Courtyard can be hired for groups of up to 30 and with the addition of the Granary we can accommodate up to 39 guests. Group booking discounts for 2 or 3 night stays.
Other facilities include well equipped kitchen, outside barbecue and seating area, covered area with table tennis, drying room, car parking and secure cycle storage. Nearby historic towns include Faversham, Whitstable, Canterbury, Dover, Rochester and Leeds Castle is a 10 minute drive.
We have a 25 pitch tent only campsite and pre-pitched Bell tents with matresses for hire, we hire Fire Pits and sell logs and Charcoal, see our website for details.
