The Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men was founded in 1897 by a group of London businessmen with interests in Kent.
Over the years, local branches were formed in Kent. There are currently 18 branches.
Faversham is one of these, the current branch being set up in 1988. Despite the association's title, membership is of course open to men and women.
