The village of Dunkirk can be found half way between Canterbury and Faversham on the old A2.
Uniquely in Kent, Dunkirk, 5 miles east of Faversham, just off the A2, can claim to be virtually a ‘New World’ village. In other parishes in the county you’ll find at least one medieval building - and often lots.
Dunkirk village of today still has a village hall, playing fields, Blean Woods Nature reserve and designated SSSI. We have the local Red Lion Public House, a caravan park, a farm shop, garden centers, farms car sales, local builders and a vibrant collection of homes of all shapes and sizes.
- Blean Woods area ideal for a peaceful walk amongst the trees and wildflowers.
